ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Laura Fotusky is a devoted wife, mom to five adult children, and Grammy to thirteen grandkids. She has clung to God’s promises through difficult trials, growing in faith and perseverance.
Laura’s life is her message. And that message is that love, in its many forms, has the power to change lives. She understands that the ability to persevere and love well comes from the example of Jesus: knowing Him and experiencing His love and power while living in daily friendship with Him.
She recognizes that God’s Word not only informs, but it stabilizes, teaches, comforts and changes us. Laura passionately shares her love for God and the Bible, as a published author of devotions, a women’s mentor and teacher for 15 years, a songwriter, and with her beloved grandchildren.
Her passion to encourage the weary reaches to her family, friends, readers, daily contacts, and all who have embraced foster care and adoption. She believes in the value of a child, their unique potential to touch and change the world, their need to be loved unconditionally, cherished, nurtured and protected.
Her life stands as a testament to her beliefs. Laura finds joy in the power of words, serving hope through the poems, prayers and articles she has written, and serving help to her family by loving on the littles who come through her door!

Her motto is Help the hurting, Hope for the weary, Truth to stand on.
